I've gone to Mike & Gel's a few times since they took over the place, and have been satisfied every time. They offer typical pizza shop/pub fare, and everything is reasonably priced and has large portions. Their spinach pies and calzones are delicious, and their small nachos ($6.99) are large enough to fit in a small pizza box.

I absolutely love this place. I recently moved to the area, and of all the pizza joints I've tried in Rhode Island, this is by far my favorite. The service is fantastic, it's a family run business and they treat you like family. Everyone is so nice. The dining area is cozy and the decor reminds me of a mother's kitchen. The pizza is phenomenal, and they have good beer on draft. The prices are good, too. As many times as I've been here, I've never had a complaint and I will definitely keep coming back. I've worked in the pizza business for years and this shop is great!

Third time in a row the food was top notch. Haven't had a bad bite in here. Tonight had 2 large Pizzas on special for 16.99. Tons of pepperoni and excellent sauce. Meatball grinder last time. Steaming hot, great sauce, lots of homemade meatballs, cheese just right. Good food great place good people.
